My Ideal Pokemon Game

Image
Helloooo. I made a post about how I would’ve gone about making Ghost Recon Breakpoint so I thought I’d try to make a post about my ideal Pokemon game. A lot of the things I’m going to bring up is all crap I’ve said in other posts but similar to the Ghost Recon post I just wanted to have one definitive post with all my thoughts and ideas in one place, hopefully.             So, as I’ve said before, two of my favorite things in Pokemon games are exploring and tracking down legendary/mythical Pokemon, the two typically go hand in hand. In Legends: Arceus I enjoyed exploring the land with my Pokemon and being able to use them to break rocks and ride on their backs over water. I liked looking for the legendaries with clues and with some prior knowledge of Diamond/Pearl and I would just like more of it. I’d like it if there was an option, similar to Breakpoint of all things, where you turn off t...

Wish List 2022

Image
Hello! So it’s that time again where I vomit all these random ideas for potential videogames I’ve been holding in all year and hope to see them, or something like them, in the near future. As it has become slightly traditional, I will go over my past wishes briefly as a reminder of things I’d still like to see and hopefully not repeat myself in this post. A monster based Monster Hunter fighting game, a Monster Hunter Mosou/Warriors game, Nintendo X Sega Smash Bros., and a good waifu third person shooter game. My last list(s) have had a new Mario Kart on them and all though that hasn’t come, Nintendo has released, and are still releasing, a bunch of new tracks for 8 Deluxe. It’s bitter sweet for me, I’m almost more interested in new characters and karts then I am new tracks but I’ll take it for now. No word on a Marathon reboot but 40k did announce Boltgun which has an old school, Doom/Marathon look to it. It seems mighty interesting and probably more appealing to me then Necromu...

Edgerunners and MonHun Grind

Image
Hello! I was on “vacation” the other week and saw articles saying how many people have gone back to Cyberpunk 2077 due to Edgerunners. I had plans to get deeper into Final Fantasy 7 Remake but was like, “alright, fine.”             At the time I was only about half way through Edgerunners but I know why people were flocking back to the game, Edgerunners shows you how you can play the game. When I first played the game I didn’t know what the hell I was doing. You couldn’t reset perks or attributes so experimenting wasn’t ideal. I didn’t know how many levels there were, how many points I’ll get so I just picked things randomly. My original playthrough I finished the game at like level 25 and didn’t really have an issue. The problem with stories like Cyberpunk and Breath of the Wild is telling the player they need to do something like yesterday but give all these side missions and stuf...

My Return to Azeroth and Beyond

Image
Hello! So I’m a big fat liar. Last post I said I made some alts to level when Dragonflight came out, they’ve been leveled. I said I wasn’t going to buy Shadowlands, it’s been bought (though now it’s free until the 5 th , typical). I said I was going to basically replace/retire my shaman and priest for the new allied races but that’s not quite true either, so let me bore you with what I’ve been doing.             I’ve been making, deleting and remaking alts for the last few weeks. @NEETproxy made a Vulpera rouge and I made a Nightborne priest, I think I said in my last post I pretty much only like playing shaman and preist. He brought up questing around with these characters and I was like “sure, why not.” Well we got them to 50 in like two weeks. I had the name Megamilk saved since like, Warlords and just haven’t felt like actually using it. She was a Tauren warrior but then I thought it...

I Play WoW!

Image
Hello! Sooooo I’ve been playing World of WarCraft again. Usually I come back around to WoW when I’m super bored and I have nothing else to do. I’ve been watching Asmongold a little bit on Youtube and seeing some stuff on Dragonflight got me interested.             I remember the last time I played I was trying to get the Highmountain Tauren and the Zandalari Trolls but then I couldn’t remember when that was exactly. I know I haven’t touched WoW since Shadowlands and that came out like a year and a half ago so when I logged in it said last time I played was in February 2020. Two and a half years. It feels like longer, but anyway, with Shadowlands they did another level squish. My shaman was max level but apparently my priest wasn’t which surprised me. They made getting the allied races easier so I decided to try to get the Highborne Elves and level up my Priest. I wanted to get a few...

Watch Order

Image
Hello! I’ve been sitting on this topic for a while, just never got around to bringing it up. I wanted to talk about or maybe even ask about the watch order of certain movies, animes, franchises, ect.             My first time watching The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi online, it was in the order that it aired on television. For those that don’t know, Haruhi aired out of sequence or like, not in a chronological sort of order. I remember the episode where Haruhi signed the group up to play baseball and Mikuru was in a nurse’s outfit. Up to that point she had always been in a maids outfit and no one said anything! I was so confused, I figured Kyon, at least, would question it but no, not one bit. An episode or two later Haruhi asks Kyon what he’d like to see Mikuru wear next and one of her suggestions was a nurse’s outfit. I really enjoyed how they were able to make the show work with b...

What the Future of Monster Hunter Could Be

Image
Hello! Maybe one day I’ll have all my ideas together at one time. Probably not but you know how it is. So this is just a dream situation I guess, things I’d really like to see in Monster Hunter that will probably never come to be and some things that Proxy and I discussed. A long while ago, before Rise came out, I talked about what I’d like “ the next Monster Hunter ” to be like. That idea was probably too ambitious for the Switch but I still like the overall concept and I’ll probably refer to it once or twice.             One thing that I really liked with Generations Ultimate and Rise is the ability to select different “styles” or moves for your weapon. I almost wish it was more customizable to the point where each move, each part of the combo could be changed with two or three options. There’s some moves that I just don’t like, don’t use or because they are there, they get in my way of...
