             My latest computer issues prompted me to think back on technology. I think the time of the 360, MP3 players and flip/slide phones were the peak of technological convenience. Tablets, smart phones and subscription services are so fucking cumbersome now it’s unreal. How do you make things worse? Let me explain.             I loved the Xbox 360. I love how the controller shows which player number you are, I loved the original dashboard and I loved how easy it was to communicate with my PC. I could go over to the media tab, select my PC and play my music. No problems. When I got my Xbox One I couldn’t do that. I go over to the tab, try to play my music and it says “you need Xbox Music on your PC.” Okay… I mean I’m using Zune, a Microsoft player, but alright.               Back so soon! I’m kind of bored so. I’ve thought about this a bunch and after watching the horrible show that was the Mortal Kombat movie I thought I’d start writing. I often think about why we’re so interested in violence and killing and what video games and movies would look like if they weren’t so violent or didn’t involve guns. It seems from what I’ve seen in media that the world is a powder keg and there’s all sorts of wars, unrest and coups. I feel like the US and a lot of Europe live in a bubble. I think I’m a little better than most, like only a little LITTLE bit better, but I feel like most people are oblivious to what is really going on in the world.             Hello. I currently have the COVID and have lots of time on my hands. A while ago I had made a suggestion of a weird mash up for WarCraft and StarCraft RTS and thought I’d try to make a “lore” type timeline of how things could go in the game. Now, I am sick so my thought process is even more all over the place than usual so I’ll do my best to not lose you and my WoW knowledge is limited. I mean, they change their own lore as they see fit anyway but.             So obviously there’s a boat load of races and not all of them are going to make it into my fictional game.              I find PC gaming to be frustrating at times. I get in different moods where I just focus on one specific console for no good reason. Like, “I’m gonna play a ton of Switch” or “I really feel like doing all this PC stuff” and every other console or game is just not an option. I find it odd but it’s just a mood and I go from thing to thing. I feel like that’s how it must be for fanboys all the time that’s why they’re so agro all the time. They’re just hyper focused on their console of choice for whatever reason. But PC gaming can be so finicky and between different CPUs, video cards and RAM it’s no surprise really.             Last year I was having issues trying to play WarCraft 3 Reforged and Deep Rock Galactic.          Hello again. I posted this once but I wasn’t quite happy with it so I’m going to try to trim the fat. I want to talk more about my Monster Hunter fighting game. I’m not going to go too in-depth with each character’s/monster’s moves since I’m not that well versed in fighting games like other people. I’m not able to suggest possible inputs and such. First though I want to talk about game modes I really enjoy from older fighting games that the games seem to have moved away from. For the most part I’ve noticed that my first experience with a franchise is typically going to be my favorite and what everything after will be compared to. When it comes to fighting games I’m as casual as it comes. I have little desire to play against other people online for the most part.               Hello! I’ve put in probably 30ish hours into Monster Hunter Rise and am like just starting village and hub 3 star quests and thought I’d give you my first, early impressions.             The first thing you get to do is customize your character and pets or “buddies.” I was a little put off by the character options. There’s not a lot of hair options and, for me, the hair for the females in particular are too clean. Like they’re hair is just so straight and perfect. They’re hunters; the hair should be a little messier and I feel like there should be more tied up/back options like braids. I know that it doesn’t really matter because how much are you really going to see your characters hair but if you’re giving me the options then really give me some options otherwise just give me a generic character and let me go.             Hello, I thought I’d post something different. I mean this blog is pretty much just things I’ve talked about with my friends more than once and just wanted a place to keep tabs on so I don’t have to repeat myself anymore. What I want to talk about mostly is how all the sequels to Pirates of the Caribbean Curse of the Black Pearl take plot points from the first movie. I’m sure I’m not the only one to notice and maybe it was intentional or maybe it’s just lazy, I don’t know. If this isn’t too long I’ll complain about other things at the end.             I don’t think Dead Man’s Chest and At World’s End suffer from this as much as the later two movies.
