I did end up getting Wild Hearts somewhere local (and paying a lot more than I should’ve apparently) and with Wild Hearts it’s reinforced this feudal Japan mood I’m in. I made my wife watch Delicious in Dungeon and we’ve finished it so we’re now starting The Apothecary Diaries. Two birds with one stone; it’s what I’m interested in at the moment and she’s into natural/organic remedies and how things were done in the old days.             So Wild Hearts, god damn, fucking rough. These monsters will fucking rock your shit in two or three moves. Monster Hunter is so slow in comparison. I’d like to see how some of these people who think Wilds is too easy would fare in Wild Hearts and how quickly they’d run away.   Hello. Like usual I didn’t fit everything I wanted to say in the last post because I didn’t feel like they fit with the theme so this’ll be just some random bullshit. Realized I hadn’t said much of anything about Assassin’s Creed Shadows yet which surprised me. I’ll start with some Monster Hunter stuff that I’ve probably mentioned before then some more about Wild Hearts into AssCreed.             So, I don’t know how to have fun in MH Wilds. The new title update came today (time of writing) and it added a couple monsters, big deal. They’re supposed to be harder than what we’ve faced before so we’ll see when the boys are around to play but like after fighting them then what? I know you’re “suppose to” do the Artian grind for weapons but I don’t wanna. After that it would be grinding for “perfect” decorations but I don’t care.             Hello. The Switch 2 direct happened so I can talk a little about that, I’ll talk a little bit about Monster Hunter, probably stuff I’ve already said before and just something else I’ve noticed in games recently.             I’ll start with the “something else” I guess since it’s quick. While bouncing back and forth between different languages in MH Wilds I’ve noticed that the characters lips match the words they are speaking, to my eyes anyway. Back in the day the lips didn’t always match the words in games from Japan when being dubbed in English. Understandable. I don’t remember which game it was, pretty sure it was a Final Fantasy, but it was like the first game to lip sync the characters with the different languages available. It was a big deal at the time but I’ve been noticing it more and more from Monster Hunter to Assassin’s Creed Shadows. Just thought it...

              Le sigh. After my last post I started doing what I said I would, I jumped off my seikret and started walking around the Scarlet Forest . I found some nooks and crannies, found a nice safe campsite behind a waterfall and was able to just look at the scenery. I got to an edge of the map and started fishing and noticed a lot of splashing to my right so I went over to take a look. It was like a fish feeding frenzy, for some reason, and there were a few of the small flying monsters diving in and catching some fish. I started throwing my lure in there and was catching fish after fish and a thought crossed my mind. “Imagine having to do this for materials.” Essentially living off the land, much like the older Monster Hunters and then it kind of occurred to me. This is Capcom’s way of saying “make your own fun” much like Ubisoft did with Breakpoint but actually good.         ...

  Hello. Seems I’ve kind of lied, I’m back. Much quicker than I really thought I would be. I’ve been playing Rise again, I made a new character, picked four weapons I like to use and have been using my Game of Life spinner to tell me which weapon to use each hunt. I bounce between it and Wilds and notice some differences, obvi, and just wonder what changes the next Monster Hunter may bring or what it might adept from Wilds, if anything. I was watching a Monster Hunter video on YouTube but don’t know what it was about now but the creator, author, narrator, was calling GenU and Rise “portable” games, because that’s what they technically are, and was referring to the next game as a “portable” game as well so I might refer to it as such in this post also. Every time I make a post, EVERY TIME, I think I should be good for a while, nothing should come up , but as soon as I hit that “post” button more fucking thoughts come into my head.               Hello. I’m a little sick. I can’t quite focus on Wilds right at the moment so I thought I’d write something. The meat of this post will be about Wilds but I wanted to start with my thoughts on the Pokemon Legends ZA trailer.             The Legends ZA trailer didn’t make me excited. I usually buy and play Pokemon games regardless but I’ve been losing interest. I like to have as many of the legendary and mythic Pokemon as I can get but I didn’t even get the Scarlet and Violet DLC I’ve been so uninterested. The games just have been lacking something recently. I remember seeing art for X and Y, no, it was Sun and Moon wasn’t it? Yes, art for Sun and Moon, there is a picture of a Blastoise in a bucket like truck to be used as fire truck and that really excited me. I was hoping to see Pokemon be more of a part of society but they weren’t, and they STILL haven’t....
