I Preceive Through Me

                It’s starting. The purge of physical media is ascending a few more steps. Recently Best Buy came out saying it will stop selling DVDs and Blu Rays in 2024 then there was a rumor that Walmart might stop selling physical video games in 2024 (apparently the rumor is Xbox games). That’s wild to me. Best Buy stopping movies is like “what is your store going to be filled with then?” People can only go and buy so many appliances and TVs. Kind of sounds like they and their store sizes will shrink significantly. Walmart not selling video games is very weird. Best Buy points to streaming as being the reason for the move. People aren’t interested in owning movies anymore. I imagine most people now only watch what’s out or newly released to streaming and then forget about it, move on to the next thing. I like rewatching stuff and sometimes something you want to watch isn’t available anywhere to stream. Sometimes you have to wait and keep checking to see if it’s available anywhere

              Hellooo! So, my wish list post put me in the mood to play WarCraft 3. It’s always a slippery road, I play WC3, maybe SC2, I’ll play a little HotS then next thing you know I’m playing WoW, I’m hoping I don’t go that far but while trying to play Reforged I was reminded of why I stopped and the current Blizzard truly makes me sad.             When I first got into WC3 and scrolled through the campaign list I saw that the Undead campaign was locked, the Orc and Night Elf were unlocked and nothing else after that. I know for a fact that I had cheated my way so I could play Rexxar’s campaign and the Tomb of Sargaras mission in Maive’s campaign because those are two of my favorite things to play but they still showed up as locked. No big deal you know, I want to kind of play through the campaign anyway . I don’t think I’ve ever fully completed a Blizzard expansion without cheating and I would like to just once. I know I couldn’t do it in Brood War, probably not even Beyond

              Hello hello. It’s that time, my wish list of sadness that will never come to be. I normally go through games I’ve mentioned wanting and what the “status” of said games are but there’s too many now so I’m just going to remind you of some of my favorites. A new Armored Core did come out so that was exciting. I’m not a big fan of all the boss fights though. Most of the time it’s just, “shoot the thing with everything you got and try not to die.” Like, there’s not much strategy beyond that. A Marathon game, reboot, something, was announced but it looks like another battle royale which is disappointing. Visually and conceptually it looks cool as hell, I’m very interested in this world and the story behind it but if it’s going to be PvP only then my interest is lost. I still think my Monster Hunter fighting game is a great idea. I’m not going to harp on Waifu Division again, although I want to. It’s just the more I play Blue Archive the more cool things and abilities I see tha

              Hello hello. This is another one of those posts where I think I’ve talked about it before but can’t find it so sorry if I’m repeating myself. It’s also not about videogames but about movies. Not exactly one theme, just my thoughts that I’ve been harboring forever now. Now I don’t watch a whole lot of “movies” per se or maybe the correct term is “films.” I watch a lot of crap with not a lot of depth which is what I’m looking for in movies. The things I watch are not “great works of art” but they do have a ton of problems that could be trimmed out that would make the movie a whole lot better and I don’t know who is to blame. The writers? The director? Both?             One issue I have with these movies and shows is forced love interest. I swear half the time they put these bits into movies because they need to drag it out to a certain time limit and they are just too lazy to think of anything else besides “uhhhh romance!” Transformers for instance.
